Investors-in-Residence Announce New Dates at Engine Shed

Investors-in-Residence have announced new dates at Engine Shed, as part of the popular service launched last year.

Deepbridge Capital, ADV, Bristol & Bath Regional Capital, Ignite, and Episode One will be at Engine Shed one day per month, providing expert advice, non-obligatory consultations, pitch feedback, and insight into what investors are looking for.

The service typically books up fast, so don’t miss out on your chance to meet with an expert investor before the year is through.

Current confirmed investors and dates for 2018 are:

Simon Tutton of Deepbridge Capital (for profit investments) will be providing feedback and guidance to innovative companies as part of Engine Shed’s Investor-in-Residence service. Deepbridge hopes to provide practical advice as well as potentially finding tech and life sciences innovation that meet their investment criteria and join their portfolio of funded companies.
Simon will be at Engine Shed on:

  • 19th February
  • 19th March
  • 16th April

Ed Rowberry of Bristol and Bath Regional Capital (BBRC) (social enterprise investments) will be able to help entrepreneurs are looking to put purpose at the heart of their activity. BBRC is a community-minded investment company working with local people, companies and institutions in the West of England to catalyse regional change. They are happy to meet with charities looking to develop new delivery models, as well as public sector organisations who want to rethink the way they deliver their services.
Ed will be at Engine Shed on:

  • 21st February
  • 21st March

Epsiode One is run by a team of experienced investors and operators with a previous track record of investing in companies such as Shazam, Zoopla, Betfair and Fanduel. The fund has made 22 investments to date across a range of different sectors and is looking to support the next wave of UK companies with global ambitions. They will be at Engine Shed on 28th February.

Each team will offer one day a month, with hourly slots between 10am and 3pm. To book a session with any of our Investors-in-Residence, or for more information, click here.
