Engine Shed update following announcement of Government’s roadmap

On 22 February 2021, Prime Minister Boris Johnson set out his ‘roadmap’ for how England will move out of the current lockdown. As part of this he highlighted that people will no longer be legally required to stay at home from 29 March, but people should continue to work from home where possible. From 12 April, subject to confirmation, public buildings can reopen.

Taking the Government’s ‘roadmap’, we will be taking the following approach:

• From 29 March, we will reopen the Members’ Lounge to tenants, members and the public for single occupancy table bookings only. Bookings can be made here and are subject to cancellation if the Government guidelines change.

• From 12 April, we will reopen our meeting rooms at restricted capacity to adhere with social distancing guidelines. Meeting rooms will continue to be discounted at 50% off for tenants and members and 25% off for non-members. Bookings can made here and are subject to cancellation if the Government guidelines change.

• From 12 April, we will extend the Members’ Lounge to bookings for up to 4 people together. Tenants will also be able to accept visitors into the building.

If you are looking for flexible office space or coworking space to bring your teams together, you can find more information here. We would be happy to show you around Engine Shed and introduce you to our vibrant entrepreneurial community.

The safety for our building users remains our utmost priority and we continue to provide a Covid secure environment with enhanced cleaning and sanitation which comply with Public Health England guidelines.  See our Building Safety Guide.
