Engine Shed is reopening from 3 August

We are delighted to announce that Engine Shed will be reopening its doors to its members and the public from Monday 3 August, following its temporary closure due to COVID-19 lockdown.

The building will reopen for the revised hours of 9am to 4pm weekdays for the month of August.

Located a 2-minute walk from Temple Meads Station in one of Bristol’s iconic Brunel buildings, Engine Shed is home to 4 historic meeting rooms, 3 event spaces, 2 coworking spaces and 18 private or shared offices.

Whilst lockdown has seen many benefits of working from home, businesses and individuals have widely reported missing the connection of face-to-face discussions and productive planning and workshop sessions.

Engine Shed is fortunate to have the space for individuals or small groups to start coming together in a Covid-19 safe workplace. See our Building Safety Guide for what measures we have introduced.

Meeting rooms are available to hire with a reopening 50% discount for members and 25% discount for non-members. The rooms have capacity for up to 16 people and can be set up in boardroom, theatre, classroom or breakout layouts. Participants can join the meeting remotely and enjoy a high spec experience, with AV and hosting support.

Visitors can also book a booth, pod or table in the Members’ Lounge to work individually or meet with up to three other people, at a charge of £20 per day for non-members.

Engine Shed’s coworking workspace, The Interchange, is offering a discounted monthly rate of £240 + VAT for a permanent fixed desk, which includes use of the Members’ Lounge and discounted meeting room hire.

Start up or scale up tech businesses can benefit from flexible office spaces combined with business support from Engine Shed’s resident incubator, SETsquared Bristol, subject to eligibility.
