We’re excited to announce that Barclays’ Eagle Labs has officially opened its Bristol base at Engine Shed, providing even more support for startups and entrepreneurs in the South West.
Bristol Eagle Labs will provide access to business expertise, banking services, and mentoring and coaching from scale-up specialists, as well as a year-round events programme dedicated to promoting collaboration and innovation in the community.
It also offers members the opportunity to connect with like-minded entrepreneurs, universities, industry bodies, potential clients and investors across the country, to help them build their networks and grow.
Jack Jordan-Connelly has been appointed Eagle Labs’ Ecosystem Manager for Bristol and will be based at Engine Shed as he meets with members and helps connect them with Eagle Labs’ network and resources.
Jack comes with a huge amount of knowledge and experience of the tech sector in the West of England, and many members of our innovation network will already know him through his role as Business Incubation Manager at our incubator partner SETsquared Bristol, as well as from previous roles at cybersecurity startup, Immersive Labs, and tech consultancy, Tech Scale.
Jack said “I’m honoured and excited to be bringing the Barclays Eagle Lab offering to Bristol, providing support and expertise that will help to continue developing the innovation ecosystem here and across the South-West. Having worked in Engine Shed for years myself, it’s hard to think of a better partner and I look forward to working in and for the community together.”
